Terms & Conditions

Bookings


Your booking is only a confirmed booking on payment of a deposit (50% of total). Astor Hall can hold a booking for you provisionally for 24 hours, if Astor Hall doesn't hear from you after this time the booking is automatically cancelled. You must be over 18 years of age at the time of making your booking - Astor Hall can refuse any booking before Astor Hall have issued a written Confirmation Letter, and Astor Hall will promptly return any monies you have paid and be under no other liability - As soon as you receive a written a Confirmation Letter, you must check it carefully. If there are any errors you must inform us immediately.

Payment

After you have paid the deposit, the balance must be paid no later than 4 Weeks before the arrival date. The date your balance is due is clearly stated on the Confirmation Letter. Astor Hall does not send out final reminders. This saves paper and administration costs, which is reflected in our rates. If Astor Hall does not hear from you the balance will automatically be charged to the same credit card as the original deposit was made. If you book less than 4 Weeks before the start date the full payment must be made in advance. Astor Hall accepts Bank Transfer, Cheque or Cash.

Cancellation or Changes by You

If you have to cancel your booking, for whatever reason, you must immediately phone, write, fax or e-mail us at the address below to tell us why. Your cancellation only takes effect when Astor Hall receives written confirmation from you. Cancellation incurs administration costs and carries the risk that it may not be possible to be resold.

Pets

We regret that pets, with the acceptance of guide dogs, are not allowed.

Arrival/Departure

The apartment will only be available from 2pm on the day of arrival. As Astor Hall do not have a reception area. In order for us to check you in Astor Hall must receive a confirmed arrival time from you. Please contact the office on **** three days before your arrival date to confirm your arrival time. One of our company representatives will meet you at the property and check you in. If you do not confirm your arrival time Astor Hall cannot guarantee a representative will meet you but will do our best.

If you get lost please inform us as soon as possible and Astor Hall can help direct you also likewise if you get delayed please contact us. Astor Hall can either wait for you or arrange another check in time because as you can understand Astor Hall have a number of clients to check in and do not want to keep anyone waiting. Astor Hall appreciates your cooperation on this issue. You must vacate the property before 10.00am on the morning of departure. Late departures must be authorised by our reservations department, there will be a charge of ¤100 for any unauthorised late departures.

Your Responsibilities

You must look after the property. This means you must keep all furniture and fittings, (inside or outside the property) in the same state of repair and condition as at the start of your stay - You must leave the property in the same state of cleanliness and general order in which you found it, save normal wear and tear - If you break these conditions the Owner can make an additional cleaning charge and/or make a claim against you for repair or loss as a result of damage caused. You are expected to show due consideration for other people as well. If you abuse the property or display rude, dangerous or offensive behaviour towards the Owner/Caretaker or other third party, the Owner/Caretaker can refuse to allow you possession of the property or ask you to leave the accommodation before the end of your stay. If this happens Astor Hall will treat your booking as cancelled and you will not be entitled to a refund.

Dissatisfaction

Astor Hall work very hard to make sure that every part of your stay is enjoyable well. If there are any problems during you stay please bring them to our attention immediately and Astor Hall will do our best to solve them.

Accommodation Capacity

For insurance and fire safety reasons, the total number of clients staying in each home must not exceed the maximum capacity as agreed at time of booking. It is important that you check with reservations in advance, to ensure that you do not exceed the limit, which applies to the accommodation you have booked. Failure to do so will invalidate your booking.

Special Requests

Requests for cots, high-chairs and fold up beds must be made at time of booking, whilst we will endeavour to do all possible to meet your request, it can not be guaranteed. Fold up beds are not suitable for adults. These are chargeable items.

Cleaning, Linen & Towels

Initial supply of bed linen and towels are provided for your apartment. In stays of 7 nights or more a weekly clean is inclused in the rate. If extra cleaning or changes in bed linen and/or towels is required please contact the office with your requirements. These are chargeable items.

Lost Property

Astor Hall is not responsible for any loss of valuables or property left in or at the property during the stay or after departure.

Access to Apartment

Management reserve the right to visit the apartment at any time.

Termination of Booking

Management reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking for any reason, and at any stage of such booking, and to terminate the rental of any breach of the above detailed Terms & Conditions.

Tariff

Management reserves the right to adjust the tariff where a change in costs, charges or taxation arises. Once a booking has been made and deposit paid, however, the price of your holiday as shown on the confirmation invoice will not be increased unless the booking is amended after it is issued.

Acceptance

By making this booking, you have agreed to accept the Terms and Conditions above. You agree to be responsible for the apartment(s) for the duration of your stay and have read and fully understood the Terms & Conditions of Astor Hall.
